Staff Support
Staff Support volunteers help with both short-term and ongoing projects within the administrative offices. Typical tasks include mailings, organizing materials, data entry, research, photocopying, filing, typing, word and list processing, and general office support. Strong computer skills are in particular demand.

Hours: 10 AM–2 PM, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (or other days/times as needed)
Information Guides
Information Guides enhance the experience of visitors to Carnegie Hall by answering questions and pointing out amenities. Information Guides are stationed in the main lobby outside the Box Office during the daytime and in the lobby and Rose Museum during concerts.

Hours: 11 AM–4 PM daily; one hour prior to concert start through intermission
The Shop at Carnegie Hall
The Shop at Carnegie Hall opened in late 1991, offering special items for sale to guests and tour groups visiting the Hall. Volunteers for The Shop should have an interest in retail as well as a cheerful, helpful attitude.

Hours: 12–4:30 PM daily; during evening concerts
Carnegie Hall Tours
The Tour Program provides public walk-in and private booked tours daily during the concert season. Volunteers serve as tour guides for Carnegie Hall, leading groups of 20 or more on an hourlong walk through the Hall, giving visitors insight into the Hall’s history and architecture. Individuals who are bilingual and/or work well with schoolchildren are particularly welcome.

Hours: 10 AM–4 PM daily (various times as needed)
Outreach
Outreach volunteers assist in the mission of Carnegie Hall by helping with various short-term and ongoing projects within the community. Projects include distributing Carnegie Hall information, helping with audience-development events, and assisting with Neighborhood Concerts.

Hours: Various days/times as needed
